With the end of 2018 in sight, let's pause for a few minutes and look back:

First of all, EHL celebrated its 125th anniversary on 15 October in the presence of several government officials and some of our distinguished partners and alumni. It’s not only an important celebration for the school, but also the start of a new journey to position EHL at the spearhead of innovation in hospitality and as a global reference in higher education.

The construction of the future EHL campus has been kicked off early this year and will be inaugurated in summer 2021. This is exciting news for the students who will join us next year, as they will spend the majority of their program on the new campus.

Given the fast development of the Far East region we are planning to open a new international campus in Asia in 2020. Our future students will have the opportunity to complete their program on two continents.

Thanks to the complete integration of SSTH, our Alpine campus, students can now join an accelerated path to the EHL Bachelor program or study in one our vocational hospitality programs. The first cohort of bachelor students joined EHL on Campus Passugg in the Fall.

Our academic portfolio has been enriched these past two years with a post-graduate degree and a suite of professional development programs: a part-time MBA (80% online, 20% on campus), a Culinary & Restaurant Management Certificate and specialized online certificate courses. This evolution supports our ambition to stay the global leader in hospitality education as well as the will to adapt to an ever-evolving market.

To mark the end of this great year, EHL’s training restaurant “Le Berceau des Sens” gained two points in the Gault & Millau with a score of 16/20.

Our achievements were only possible with the contribution of the whole EHL community: current and past students, our alumni around the world, faculty and staff, industry partners and everyone who share the EHL spirit.

Stay tuned for more in 2019.
