The SSA is a competition organized by VINUM, the European magazine on wine and is held under the patronage of "Best of Swissness".

The Crucial Fairy

Inspired from the Absinthe historical nickname «the Green Fairy», Ehl students created a citrusy short drink cocktail. 

  • Method: Shaker
  • Glass: Vintage wine Glass
  • 1 cl Absinthe L’originale
  • 5cl Gin – Gen’Gin Absintissimo
  • 1.5cl Lime Sherbet
  • 1.5cl Apple Juice
  • 2 Dash Lemon bitters
  • Garnish: Orange Zest


Crucial fairy

Garden Eden

Inspired from the crispy winter air and the growing desire of the coming spring,  Ehl students created this refreshing cocktail.  

  • Method: Shaker
  • Glass: Large martini glass
  • 5cl Basilisk Gin
  • 1.5cl Sugar Syrup
  • 2cl Lime Juice
  • 2cl Egg White
  • 5 Leaves of fresh mint
  • Garnish: Red pepper and Mint leaves



The Djinntini

Inspired from the «white walkers» in the Games of Thrones series, Ehl Students created a cold and foaming cocktail.

  • 3cl Lime Sherbet
  • 1cl Lemon Juice
  • 2cl Egg white
  • Garnish: Dry Lime




Golden Churchill

Inspired from the sharp wit of the iconic polititian Winston Churchill, Ehl students created a cocktail with his favorite spirit.

  • Method: Throwing
  • Glass: Snifter
  • 4cl Swiss Mountain Whisky
  • 2cl Demerara Syrup
  • 2cl Homemade spiced Rhum
  • 2 Dash Orange bitters
  • Top up Ginger Ale
  • Garnish: Orange Zest




In opposition to stereotype clichĂ© of woman day and Inspired from the Beyonce song « Formation»  , Ehl students created a powerful and delicate drink.

  • 3cl Gin – Rheinbrand Dry Gin Hemp Edition
  • 1cl Violet Liqueur
  • 1,5cl Sugar cane
  • Garnish: Blueberry on a stick



Bonds Secret

Who said James Bond was drinking only Dry martini? In the first scene in Casino Royal the famous agent ordered a drink with Rum and Soda. Inspired from that story Ehl students elaborated a cocktail with Rum creating the secret favorite cocktail of Mr Bond.

  • 2cl Falernum
  • 1.5cl  Vieille Orange Etter Söhne
  • 1cl Demerara Syrup

Inspired by the early 20th century  militant women's organization, who fought for the right to vote in public elections, a team of Ehl student created a powerful yet sophisticated drink.

Federer Federal

Inspired by the iconic Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, Ehl Students created a drink that will federate our costumers for the aperitif.

Blooming World

Inspired by the spring and their worldwide background Ehl students created a floral and refreshing cocktail.

  • 3cl Lime sherbet
  • 2.5cl Lime Juice

Chap’s Ringo

Inspired by famous iconic actor Charlie Chaplin, Ehl students created a cocktail based on a modern Chinese touch “Ringo” (Chinese apple).
