2016 brought many highlights for the EHL Group. Let's mention only a few...

STRONG PARTNERSHIPS

We launched the METRO Chair of Innovation, which aims to investigate challenges and trends linked to restaurant digitalization.

We materialized our collaboration with Dusit Thani College with a partnership aiming to create an innovative hospitality management college in the Philippines.

We pushed our educational portfolio forward with the addition of two new programs; our blended MBA in Hospitality, 80% online and 20% on campus, which will be launched in September 2017 and our Master Class in Culinary Arts, a six months certificate, which will start in February 2017.

We inaugurated our second office abroad, in San Francisco.

We formalized our partnership with the Institut International Joël Robuchon, that contributes to the enrichment of training in the culinary arts and to the development of leading professionals.

We published the first Lausanne Report, a study that provides reader-friendly reflection on some of the most important forces that are shaping today’s world and their long-term impact on the hospitality industry.

CELEBRATIONS

On a national scale, the decision of the Swiss Government – with regards to the new immigration law – to allow foreign students to stay in Switzerland without any restrictions is, of course, extremely positive.

Countless events proposed and organised by our students contributed to the EHL entrepreneurial spirit.

Career Fairs have attracted twice 120 companies, Open Days have welcomed up to 1’400 guests per event and 94 Student Business Projects were conducted.

600 Alumni from all five continents joined the celebration of the 90th anniversary of our Network in Monaco, which underlined the great importance of this organisation for our students and graduates.
