EHLfamily: 2004, The last congress

EHL Alumni | 23 Sep, 2016

The EHL Alumni Association used to hold a global meeting every two years, taking place in all corners of the world; the first “Symposium” took place in 1977 in Paris and included amongst other activities visits at Lenotre, the famous Rungis market and a tour around Versailles.

The concept was simple; the co-organizing local stamm invited EHL alumni for a (minimum) three day program. The program was both educative and distracting.

Symposium events took place in Baden-Baden (1979), Brussels (1981), Athens (1983), Madrid (1985), Portugal (1987), Netherlands (1989), Cyprus (1991), South of France (1993), London (1995), Austria (1997) and Luxembourg (1999).  The event was called “congress” after it was merged with the general assembly, for the first time in Berlin (2000) followed by Lausanne (2001), Madeira (2002) and Montréal (2003) .
